It is a solution for either laser assisted welding, tacking or laser cleaning.
With the Lightweld 1500 XC you are able to weld up to 4 times faster on dissimilar thicknesses of materials. i.e1mm-4mm material thickness.
In this case it can either be fused together to save the cost of the weld wire or increase the weld speed when using wire.
This manual welding solution also enables you to weld different types of materials together. I.e. mild steel to copper or stainless steel to aluminium, which is not possible with normal TIG or Mig welding.
With the Lightweld XC version, you are also able to do laser cleaning on either side of the weld seam, which leads to no corrosion forming when welding typical 3CR12 stainless steel.
The Lightweld 1500 XC has been exhibited in shows in the USA and Europe and has outdone the wildest dreams in sales forecasts and is penetrating the market with great success.
